Echinacea 'Pink Lemonade'

Echinacea ‘Pink Lemonade’ is an eye-catching summer flowering perennial boasting lush mid-green foliage and cheerful bi-coloured blooms. The large, daisy like petals surround a brown eye and are vibrant pink, fading out to yellow around the tips. These long-lasting flowers brighten the garden from June to October and act as a magnet for pollinators, turning your garden into a hive of activity.

Reaching up to 50cm tall and 40cm wide, this vigorous plant has a rounded, compact growing habit that makes it ideal for patio pots and containers as well as planting in beds and borders. As an herbaceous perennial, ‘Pink Lemonade’ dies back in late autumn to over-winter beneath ground level before emerging with fresh new growth the following spring.

Also known as Coneflower, Echinacea thrives in full sun or partial shade in moist but well-draining soil. Once established, it is relatively drought -resistant and only needs to be watered during dry spells of weather. Deadhead spent blooms to promote further flowering and prune the plant back in autumn, ready for the dormant season.
