A relatively large and splendid Euphorbia with tall stems carrying whorls of bright foliage to create a beautiful, dome-shaped display. The Euphorbia mellifera, also known as 'Honey Spurge', is a bushy, upright evergreen shrub with lance-shaped, mid-ribbed, bright green leaves with pale central veining and rounded clusters of small, bronze-yellow flowers with a soft honey scent which bloom in late Spring. The upright, domed habit provides great value as an architectural display or when grouped with other large leafed plants.
Plant in light, well-drain soils and keep in full sun in a sheltered position. Can be considered evergreen in mild regions, but for colder areas container plant is advised. Move the plant under glass indoors during the Winter to avoid frost and cold damage.
