Euonymus alatus

Euonymus Alatus, also known as Winged Spindle or Burning Bush, is an attractive and eye-catching deciduous plant that really shines in the Autumn. Its dark green foliage turns to a blazing bright red in the Autumn months, living up to its name. Tiny, Pale green flower will appear in the Spring followed by small red fruits, that should NOT be eaten, which give it a nice variation of colour in the Spring and Summer months. Euonymus works very well as a specimen plant or as part of informal hedging, screening or borders.

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Can be planted in full or partial sun, but for full Autumn colours full sun is recommended. A low maintenance and easy to grow shrub.
